Therefore, is journal better stored in a database while snapshot is better stored in a file storage? However, when I checked the akka community, all the snapshot plugins are also implemented for databases. Is it because database is still preferred over file storage for snapshot storage?

Thank you.
Amy Wonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13521453638504638422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-46409588966115029642014-07-25T09:44:36.001+02:002014-07-25T09:44:36.001+02:00Hello Martin, thanks for the post and for your goo...Hello Martin, thanks for the post and for your good job!

Im totally newcomer to akka and im very confused about the concept of "view" in the akka-persistence context.

The documentation does not helps at all since it does not explains the concept.
I understand the view concept from a database perspective but it's hard to me to translate this to the akka framework.

Can you please give me some hints about this?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03849311387273317320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-75377814151196004062014-04-03T07:44:00.670+02:002014-04-03T07:44:00.670+02:00yes, this is guaranteed.yes, this is guaranteed.Martin Krasserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11765963540395771125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-87731401249206962712014-04-03T03:40:23.027+02:002014-04-03T03:40:23.027+02:00during recovery, are the messages/events being rep...during recovery, are the messages/events being replayed in the in the correct order (right sequence)? is this guaranteed by akka persistence?markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08450399171531719842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-85616477820832390042014-03-24T16:21:42.858+01:002014-03-24T16:21:42.858+01:00Cool stuff!Cool stuff!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16088038728181741363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-92792560466477052014-03-19T18:30:10.169+01:002014-03-19T18:30:10.169+01:00niceniceAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05092545772771719307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-37570701239858193062014-02-10T19:26:09.591+01:002014-02-10T19:26:09.591+01:00Nice post

Our problem is to find a complete example how to use akka in combination with camel. We want to use akka with java (not with scala). Have you any suggestions for us how to find a complete akka/camel example in java using the microkernel? The examples on different websites for akka/camel are only code snippets, not complete examples. Is it possible to contact you on different ways not only via blog.

Best regards
Maik and ChristofMaikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09442236795682669768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-71232129088717580502013-03-27T13:27:20.084+01:002013-03-27T13:27:20.084+01:00Yeah, Eventsourced was heavily inspired by the LMA...Yeah, Eventsourced was heavily inspired by the LMAX architecture. 'Eventsourced' seems to be a great interpretation and implementation of the same. Fantastic. I will try and being to play with it even though I am a complete newbie in the Akka world. By the way, did you try and capture any runtime performance data of Eventsourced and if so, would you like to share that experience in another blog post?Nirmalya Senguptahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04885237767438957122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-17460850207820640222013-02-18T16:46:37.526+01:002013-02-18T16:46:37.526+01:00autoAck = false is less than optional when using f...autoAck = false is less than optional when using features like localWorkDirectory with FTP2; if you don't, the temporary file will be deleted in a race with the consumer actor's message handling, and the deletion will usually win before the file is opened.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-23601824302959083232012-11-29T13:18:08.006+01:002012-11-29T13:18:08.006+01:00Try this oneTry this oneMartin Krasserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11765963540395771125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2708349453904691513.post-10209677247032728242012-11-29T13:09:31.379+01:002012-11-29T13:09:31.379+01:00Hi , I am trying to work on this tutorial.
